Norse Knotwork Gold Ring

Incised with a classic Norse knotwork pattern, this ring is available in 14K gold, and weighs between 0.24 - 0.28 ounces (7 - 8 g), depending on its size. Delivery takes from 4 to 5 weeks, as each ring is handmade to order by our craftsmen.

Norse knotwork developed following Viking raids on places such as Lindisfarne Abbey in northern Scotland, where Celtic knotwork was already a well-established artform. By the 10^th century CE, the Jellinge style of Viking art featured loose, open patterns such as the knotwork that loops around this ring.
